Frequently Asked Questions:

Q.- Will my painted cabinets peel or chip?

A.- One common concern when it comes to painted cabinets is the possibility of peeling or chipping. It is essential to keep in mind that both factory finish or refinished one, paint can eventually wear down due to the oils and dirt that we transfer from our hands. However, you can prevent this from happening by regularly wiping down your cabinets and knobs/pulls with a soft damp cloth. With proper care, the paint should hold up well under normal everyday use without any issues.

Q.- What cleaners should I use on my painted cabinets and tile backsplash?

A.- When it comes to cleaning your painted cabinets and tile backsplash, it is important to avoid using abrasive or harsh cleaners that can damage the finish.

Instead, opt for a gentle, non-abrasive cleaner. Here are some safe cleaning options:

1)    Warm water on a soft gentle cloth. If more is needed, mix a few drops of a mild dish soap with warm water, and use a soft sponge or cloth to gently clean your cabinets and backsplash.

2)    Microfiber cloths, these cloths are great for cleaning because they are gentle and do not leave any streaks or lint behind.

Remember to avoid using any cleaners or chemicals or any type of rough materials that could damage the finish on your painted cabinets.

Q.- How long will take to paint my cabinets and install my new backsplash?

A.- The project timeline typically spans a week from start to finish. We will work in your home for the initial 1-2 days, then return the following week to install the doors and drawer fronts. If we are also doing your backsplash, we will complete this in 2-3 days while your doors and drawers are at the shop, allowing us to finish both jobs within the same week.

Q.- I have a broken door, can you make me a new one?

A.- We can attempt to fix it, but if it’s not reparable, we can arrange to provide you with a new door.

Q.- Will I get leftover paint?

A.- Certainly, we will provide you with any remaining paint so that you have it for any future touch-ups that may be required.

Q.- Who supplies the tile for the backsplash?

A.- The responsibility of supplying the tile, edging and grout for the backsplash lies with the homeowner. We will furnish all other materials and inform you of the correct quantity to purchase.
